Her Majesty Queen Máxima, who was currently in Ethiopia as part of a three-day visit that aimed at promoting access to financial inclusions in the East African countries, envisaged at promoting digital applications in Ethiopia's financial services. During her trip, Her Majesty Queen Máxima visited HelloCash/HelloMarket agent in Addis Ababa and discussed the socio-economic impact of HelloCash/HelloMarket has, how HelloCash is changing the lives of the agents and customers. Her Majesty Queen Máxima, had a chance to talk to one of HelloCash customer who stated ‘ ...by using the HelloCash agent I was able to enough save more money and the convenience of the service eased my life'

Her Majesty Queen Máxima a UN Secretary-General Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance Development visited BelCash Ethiopia and discussed the major role BelCash is playing in financial inclusions and Affordable energy access off-grid Ethiopians. Queen Máxima discussed with HelloSolar team, how a decentralized off-grid solar energy solutions provider committed to improving the quality of life of rural communities of Ethiopians by giving access to solar energy and connectivity through PAYGO installment payments. In addition, her majesty Queen Máxima discussed with Chief Executive Officer Mountaga Diop and Chief Operating Officer Abrham Gulilat on HelloCash role on promoting financial inclusions giving access to over a million customers.

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is visiting Ethiopia at the invitations of the country’s government. Queen Máxima will visit BelCash Ethiopia for the role belCash is playing in building digitalizing Ethiopia.  Queen Máxima visit will focus on the various digital financial ‘Hello’ services provided by Belcash.
Queen Máxima will be presented HelloCash, Hello Market and HelloSolar services in particular.

-  HelloCash service, allows customers to use their mobile phone to conduct basic banking services:deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments.

-  HelloMarket is an e-commerce platform that allows business to sell their goods online and digital devices in the Ethiopian market

-  HelloSolar is the first brand to launch Pay-As-You-Go Solar Home Systems in Ethiopia, whereby people can make a domestic payment for themselves or directly receive remittance payments from their family abroad.
